PRSA-LA in the Classroom
 | | Erik Deutsch |
Many PRSA-LA members spend much of their "free" time teaching the next generation of PR practitioners. In this recurring section, we feature a chapter member who's making a difference in the classroom. This month, we focus on Erik Deutsch, who teaches the "Best Practices in Social Media for the Communications Professional" course at UCLA Extension. Erik is a PRSA-LA Board member with more than 15 years of experience in PR, media strategy and word-of-mouth marketing. His fascination with online media began in 1995, when he helped launch Interactive PR News as the first national newsletter on new media for PR professionals. Erik's next "Best Practices" course begins on October 11th, and runs for six consecutive Tuesdays. Visit the UCLA Extension website for more info.
