| 3 Life Changing Take Away Points! |
|

I just returned from our inaugural Sail to Success Cruise to the Bahamas. It was truly an amazing time. Of course the cruise was great, but the connections that were made were incredible.
The cruise setting has the ability to nurture strong relationships in a relatively short time. In addition to getting to know some great people, the education component offered some thought provoking content.
Here are 3 life changing take away points from the trip: Ron Baron offered the idea that to be more successful you should work less. Michael Crooks shared on thinking Inside the Box. David Hawes talked about Prosperity Loafing. On the left side column of this issue, we present some of the video from the Sail to Success Cruise. In these short videos you will get a feel for the flavor of the trip. From funny moments like this clip from Talk Like a Pirate Day on how pirates price promotional products, to products uniquely shown in real world settings. We also offer a few education tidbits, like the rubber band hurts.

An All New FreePromoTips.com!
|
|

It's time for an upgrade! Web technology changes and some of you know that we have had some log in issues on our site. Over the last few months our team has been working on the new site, which will address these issues. Watch for the launch in October.
We've been being hacked by Russian cypherpunks and crypto anarchists. While that sounds outrageous, it's true. We had to pull the site down and put up a clean copy. We have however turned this negative situation into something positive. In the near future we will be covering internet security and doing a Success Tracks Online Learning Experience with an expert in the field.
With the well known hacking of LinkedIn, Bank of America and some sort of catastrophic failure of Go Daddy, being secure online is an important topic we should understand.
We would like to thank the companies who have been supporting FreePromoTips on an ongoing basis. Without them our program would not be possible.

What Do I Want My Life to Look Like?
|
In a previous Promo Marketing Rant, I reflected on the concept of Life is Good. What makes a good life? Is it lots of money to buy "stuff" you want?
Does having well trained dogs make a good life? I wouldn't know much about that. We love our dogs, but it's for their wacky personalities, not their manners. Or, is a good life made up of faith, family and friends?
