It's Been an Awesome Week in Las Vegas!
The PPAI Expo education classes have been amazing. Full disclosure here. I am a fan of professional development. These classes enable you to learn new things, giving you a competitive advantage in today's more challenging business environment. In addition, there are connections you will make that can benefit your career forever.
Many years ago, when we first entered the industry and The PPAI Expo was in Dallas, my education driven wife met someone in a seminar who changed our lives. Simple as it may seem, he invited us to be a part of an online networking group that connected us with the industry in a way that could never have happened on our own. It's made up of supplier and distributor industry leaders. Through the years, the group has grown into a tight knit family that cares about each other and helps one another.
Members of the group have been there for each other though business and personal life challenges.

The PPAI Expo week has been filled with optimism and an excitement for 2011. I'm a relationship person and like all trade shows, but truly there is nothing quite like The PPAI Expo. If you didn't attend this year, I encourage you to plan to make it next year.
