This PromoTip is dedicated to reflecting on what happened nine years ago on this day. We also offer a few of non-business positive stories you may find interesting.  Feel free to pass them on.

For those new to FreePromoTips, our next issue will feature our customary business focused dialog, articles and free supplier offers.

We have been doing this issue for several years.  The feedback we have received to our September 11th issues has been overwhelmingly positive.  Like many things we do, however, there is a risk that a few people, out  of the 1000's who open this, may be offended and misunderstand our intentions.  We take no political stands.  There are no product ads.  This is simply something we do to reflect on this day.  We do welcome your feedback, positive or negative.

There have been many memorable days in history. September 11th, 2001 is one of those for this generation.  Previous generations have had Pearl Harbor and landing a man on the moon among other significant events.  9-11 isn't a day to celebrate, but it is a day we shouldn't forget either.

On the left are links to resources in remembrance of 9-11 and below is a profound story from past PPAI Chairman, Paul Kiewiet. We believe you will find it compelling and an inspiration to the value of what we do in our industry.  Feel free to contribute you thoughts.

What Would You Do?

Paul KiewietOn September 11, 2001 America was changed forever.  Most of you will recall where you were when the shocking news of these terrorist attacks occurred.  2007  PPAI Chairman, Paul Kiewiet, MAS was preparing to start his annual Golf Odyssey and End User Show.

Paul was presenting to a group of about 100 clients and some suppliers during a "Power Breakfast."  As he was nearing his conclusion, Paul received the tragic news of what had happened that morning. Paul turned on the big screen TV at the back of the auditorium as the group witnessed the first tower burning and moments later the second attack.

What would you do? Years ago, Paul shared this story and the following comment's he received in response to the decision made to continue on with the day.
