Thank you, for stopping by our booth at the Rotary International Convention in New Orleans. We enjoyed talking to you about Disaster Aid USA, a rotary club project. And how we have partnered with 4 other countries, Australia Canada, and the UK/Ireland, to deliver an aid package that helps the immediate needs after a disaster and longer term needs as well. Family Survival Packs (with large 24.5 sq meter adaptable tents,) School and First Aid Pods, Long term 10,000 liters a day water filtration systems, Solar Power systems and a continued philosophy of improvement, adaptation, and open minds to the needs of those affected by disaster both Domestic and Internationally. |

We look forward to spreading the word through Rotary club meetings, District Conferences, PETs, and Zone institute meetings throughout the next year. If you or your club are interested in helping do this through club sponsorships or our ambassador programs, please respond to this email so we can call and discuss the options with you. With these programs you will be provided brochures and DVD's to promote the program in your area as a guest speaker, and help them fundraise for DAUSA. We are also looking for DARTs ( Disaster Aid Response Team) members. There is a DART Application which we can email to you along with details of the program. A quick overview of the DART program is, after successfully completing the training (some do not pass), held in Louisiana you will be a probationary DART until approved by your team leader on your first deployment. Deployments for volunteers last a max of 2-weeks and your expenses are paid. Join us in helping those who have lost everything and to live out Rotary's motto Service above Self.
