Servants on Wheels Ever Ready

Greetings!

Sower GroupWe're Baaaaccckkkk! :) Thank you for the great response to our first SOWER Newsletter last month! It was exciting to hear from so many of you and we hope the issues to come will help keep us all connected!  But we can't do it without help from YOU!  Do you know of a project  that hasn't seen many SOWERs lately?  Or have you been touched by a project or a "God Sighting" at a project? We'd love to hear your stories and include them here in the Newsletter. And if you have a picture or two that goes with the story, please send them along too! All submissions can be sent to me at stephanie@rvthereyet.org

Thanks again for all of your encouraging words!  We love feedback, so feel free to continue to send along any comments, recommendations, and suggestions.

Camp Utmost and the Leaking Pipes

Camp Utmost

Are you amazed at how often God sends just the right SOWERs to just the right project at just the right time? Here's an email from the director of Camp Utmost (MT-386) that was received by a SOWER couple months after they had been there -

Greetings from Camp Utmost where the water in bathrooms flows without leaks! I couldn't help but think of SOWERS as we did a reverse order of turning on the bathroom water system and what a great feeling to have everything work perfectly. Thank you so much for everything SOWERS did last fall and for blessing us so greatly. The bathrooms will always be on our minds because of the shock of so many leaks this time of year last year.

Here's an amazing part of the story. When the insurance cut us a check for the repairs, they gave us over $10,000 beyond the cost, knowing full well all the labor was volunteer. The adjuster told me it would have cost the insurance company that much to have it fixed professionally which is what our insurance covers so we should receive the benefit for doing it as we did. Praise God and what an added blessing all the volunteers were to us! Our winter activities had us constantly over running the capacity of the dorm for lodging this year and we really wanted to fully winterize some of our cabins to handle the overflow so with that money we are able to finish two of them. That is one of several projects we've been able to add to our list.

Anyway, hope all is well with you as you get going on your summer travels and ministry. If you are in the area, please stop by and we will continue praying for the SOWERS ministry.

We look at the map, we pray for direction, and we choose our projects. Or so we think!  Thankfully, we have a Heavenly Father who REALLY does the choosing!

The mind of man plans his way,
But the LORD directs his steps.

Winter Reunions
Help Wanted!
Last winter  both the Florida Reunion (usually between the Feb-Mar projects) and the Texas Reunion (following the March project) were cancelled due to lack of leadership.  Since we believe that all the reunions offer unique opportunities for fellowship and encouragement, we'd love to see these two get back on track.  Do you have any thoughts about that? Maybe scaling the reunions back to just a day or two would make them more appealing to both those running the reunions and those attending.  The Board is looking for suggestions, and would love to hear from you!

MO-383 Turkey Hill Ranch Bible Camp Looking for a Fall project?

Turkey Hill Ranch Bible Camp

(MO-383)  is located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains.  While its main focus is a horse camp,  they also offer a variety of other camps including wilderness camp, family camp and discipleship programs for those wanting a more in-depth Bible Study. All of their programs are committed to reaching the unsaved with the Gospel.

They will especially need your help following the busy summer season so it would be a good stopping off point on your way south.

They have openings for four (4)SOWERS in both September and October.
