In the months after the earthquake Dorrisaint's daughter Adianne became very ill, so Operation Blessing flew her for vital medical treatment to the US. Once back home the family had to relocate to Port Au Prince for Adianne to continue her treatment.
Dorrisaint needed to find work to support her family and Operation Blessing gave her the opportunity to work making this beautiful jewellery. She has already made some stunning pieces. Adianne is now much stronger and able to go to school, thanks to the money that Dorissaint is making!
