Materials / Fees: Each student must secure copies of their own books. The library often carries many of our selections. To facilitate discussion, books with the same ISBN # are required.
Description: This course is aimed at cultivating rich spiritual practices in the life of the student by gleaning from the wisdom and insight of great Christian authors. We will study 5-6 classic books that span various eras. Critical reading, analysis and group discussion will help cement key concepts in our minds and prick our hearts toward a deeper walk with God.
Standards: Completing weekly reading assignments, study guide questions and participating in class discussion make up 60% of the grade. Two essays constitute the remainder of the grade.
