Practice the recipes at home for the family. 

  

Course Description:    

We will be preparing recipes found in the Betty Crocker
cookbook as well as other recipes which will be distributed to the class.
Students will learn about cooking terms, basic techniques, good nutrition,
and kitchen safety.

Materials/Fees:
$25.00 for groceries paid on the first day of class.
Parents have the option of purchasing the above mentioned cookbook for
practicing the recipes at home.  Students will need to bring an apron to
each class.

 

Standards:   A student will earn an "outstanding" with a positive attitude,
good listening skills, and participation.
