Course Description: Hear Ye! Hear Ye! All ye young Lords and Ladies. You are hereby invited on an enchanted journey to the Middle Ages of Europe. Join me as we travel through the gates of imagination to a time long ago when kings ruled, knights fought, peasants worked and monks prayed. Come along as we explore by way of arts, crafts, music, feasting, fantasy and fun, the days of kings and queens, knights and castles. But traveler, be prepared! The Middle Ages were a time of trouble. Alas, war, sickness and death were always near. Hunger and cold were frequent companions. Days were filled with hard work and little comfort. Still, good times being a part of every period of history, the people of the Middle Ages made time to celebrate life with feasts, fairs and holidays. So look for some silly surprises along the way! Now, pack up your curiosity, and get ready to explore! Soon you'll be making, doing, singing and playing your way back in time...back to the days of kings and queens, knights and castles!
