Homework: Several hours per week, time spent mostly depends on skill-level and knowledge of Photoshop. More hours required toward the end of the year.

Description: In this class students will have an opportunity to take pictures of other Groups classes, edit photos, organize and take individual student photos, and create and layout yearbook pages. They will learn the basics of layout and design, photo composition, lighting, and Photoshop. Students will assist in creating the Group Solutions yearbook for 2011-2012, creating appoximately 8 pages each. They will also be required to take photos during both morning Openings and Lunch. A maximum of two students will be allowed in one class, ONLY if they have all the required materials.
Standards: Students will be required to bring their own digital camera (or parent's) with a minimum 8 mega pixels. They will also need their own laptop equipped with an Adobe Photo Shop program already installed (Alex knows how to obtain student copies for Group Solutions - call 890-6882 (Alex' number) www.academicsuperstore.com .
