Description: Apologia divides their curriculum into 16 different modules, each readily completed within 2 weeks. We will cover one module per Friday. The class time will focus on performing the labs + 2-3 minute presentations. A reading schedule will be provided.
Standards: Students must complete assigned homework for each class; prepare lab sheets ahead of time for assigned experiments; participate in labs during class and complete lab reports by citing observations and conclusions. Bi-Weekly or Weekly presentations (3 minutes): Students will be assigned a topic to present/explain on class days. Show completion of On-Your-Own and Study Guides each time. Students will take tests online. Parents will choose whether a student may take it opened book or closed book. Points will be assigned for completion of each category as noted below in red.
Mrs. Wilmoth will be lead facilitator in class to be assisted by other assistants. She will be in charge of main instruction and grading of online tests. The duties of the assistants are as follows -
