Homework: 1-2 hrs per week
Materials / Fees: $25 for standard sketchbook and pencils, but I would like to bring in a selection of quality papers from time to time for special projects.
Description: Drawing and sketching from life, copying masters, and drawing from imagination. Topics include line, light and shade, action, proportion, vocabulary of line and texture. Tone, ink, charcoal and various papers will be practiced.
Standards: Students should be interested in art and able to focus, not too sensitive and able to accept instruction.
