Fun in the Sun
It's summertime and the livin' is easy. Especially if you are a pug. Take a look at these fur kids and decide for yourself whether or not they are living the good life:
Darth Vader and his human brother Gabriel enjoying the sunshine. Stephanie Scally's pug, Elvis and his brother (a pomeranian) Baxter enjoying the beach in Seaside Heights, NJ. Cindy Burgess and Franklin at Lake Tenkiller. Franklin loves to jump off the back of the boat and float. Holly West's fur kids: Mugs enjoys the pool, while Lucy spends her summer sitting in front of the fan!
Otis is on the left and BabyCakes is on the right (owners Harry and Penny Stiokas). They are both rescue pugs from Buffalo Pug and Small Breed Rescue in Western NY. Their favorite summer activity is relaxing/sleeping at Christie Lake in Canada on vacation!
The Dunagan Family's pug Rainey loves walks with her human sister, but they sure make her sleepy!
Bev Ferguson's pug Fergie taking it easy in their backyard in Dallas TX. Monica Del Rosario's pugs Winston and Marley at Stanley Draper lake. We received a ton of photos, so we will post more in the August issue. Thank you for sending them in!*If you have a summer photo to share, it is not too late to send them in! Email your photo along with a description to homewardboundpugs@gmail.com |
Pedigree Recall Small pieces of blue PLASTIC went into the food during the production process.
I hesitated to even bother with this notice because surely none of you are feeding your pug this "doggie junk food", but if you know anyone who does feed their dog Pedigree, please let them know that there could be pieces of blue plastic in the canned food. This is a choking hazard and could cause intestinal damage.
Click here for more information on the varieties affected.
