We have also given the students the option of a "Dress up" day.  Students can come dressed up in nice pants, skirts, or dresses in any color as long as they meet the requirements for length and fit as laid out in our dress code policy.  If they choose not to dress up, then they should come dressed in their uniforms.

We look forward to our Winter Tradition Event this Wednesday and will see you then.

Dress Code

1. We are noticing some dress code infractions lately and feel like it is time to better enforce the dress code.  If students come to school without the proper clothing, we will outfit them from our "loaner box" or have them call home for approved clothes.  We would appreciate parents support and helping with this effort.   If you have questions about the dress code, please click HERE.

Also, we have quite a few families who would benefit from the donation of uniform pieced that are in good condition.  If you have any clothing items to donate, please bring them to our office manager Sheri Groenlund.

3. Keep in mind that any donations to the school can be written off of your taxes.  When you turn in the items, just ask Sheri for a receipt.

Thanks for your help with the above - We appreciate the support.

Carpool Needed

A TVCS family with 3 children (2, 5 & 7th graders) is considering leaving the school as they desperately need a carpool.  They live close to Lake Hazel and Maple Grove.  If anyone would be interested in carpooling or helping this family out, please let Dr. England know ASAP.  Thanks!

Giving Tree

Our school has a Giving Tree. The teachers have provided wish lists of books and classroom supplies. We put those wishes on our Giving Tree so that interested parents and students can select a wish to fulfill. The wishes are located on garland that is wrapped around the trees in front of the school.

If you would like to participate, grab an ornament and fulfill the wish. The ornaments are color-coded with classrooms:
K - Red,

1st - Purple,

2nd - Green,

3rd - Blue,

4th - Brown,

5th - Pink,

6,7,8th - Yellow

This is a great way to give a gift to your teacher for the holidays without resorting to knick-knacks.

PS- Also, after the holidays we'll be moving the Giving Tree indoors and the PTO will be working with the Student Council to coordinate an ongoing effort to fulfill our

classroom wishes.
