TeenForce ReportMay 17,  2011
Greetings!

Our second year is off to a rousing start, with the busiest three weeks in our short history.  See below for an exciting list of new clients and some impressive growth statistics.  We hope to continue the momentum by adding some additional marketing and publicity momentum through the good work of our new marketing intern.
Special thanks to the Los Gatos Lions for organizing Date Night and to the hundreds of local residents who attended. The event supported organizations who work with teens in Los Gatos, particularly to address bullying, abuse and teen suicide.  Of course, thanks are also due to the many local businesses that donated time, food and drink to the event.  Please check out the photos and commentary here.

Client Profile: Los Gatos Auto Servicelosgatosautoservice

Los Gatos Auto Service is providing a very exciting auto mechanic internship this spring and summer.  The youth on this assignment earned several auto repair certificates at CCOC while in high school and is now attending junior college.  Thanks to Dave Hernandez, owner of Los Gatos Auto Service for providing this excellent opportunity to a qualified and deserving young man.

Lions Club "Date Night"

TeenForce, along with several other teen-support organizations in Los Gatos were
invited to be a part of the Los Gatos Lion's Club "Date Night" which raised money for

local "teen wellness" programs such as CASA, CASSY, The Venue and many others. Amidst the good food from dozens of local restaurants and several wineries, we were

able to get our message out and enjoy the night! Check out our pictures here!

We are pleased to announce the addition of Devan Mairose to

our team.  Devan is a Los Gatos High grad and just completed her first year at Clemson University, where she is majoring in Business Managment and Marketing.  She will be doing a marketing internship with us this summer and is already hard at work on a couple of press releases and improving our presence on Facebook, Twitter, etc.  We have asked Devan to "put some fun into TeenForce," so you can expect to see more photos, videos and other activities from us this summer.

About Us

TeenForce is a self-sustaining non-profit organization that helps teens (ages 13 - 20) gain work experience.  We provide work readiness training, skills development and job placement services.  Our staffing agency model makes it convenient and cost-effective for employers to hire teens and generates revenue to support our activities.

Teens in our program gain confidence and skills, while improving adult/teen relationships.  Teens become healthy, caring and responsible young adults who have important roles in the community.

We are located at 101 Church Street, Suite 19 in Los Gatos. We are open Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM.
