As the 2011-2012 rotary year comes to an end, it is our chance to look back at all the ways that we Reached Within To Embrace Humanity.  It is also an opportunity to look forward and plan how we will build on our accomplishments and create Peace Through Service in 2012-2013.

 

Although we were able to accomplish a great deal, we should remember that the world needs our perserverence and growth.  This year we welcomed the chartering of three (3) new clubs:  Greater Chino Hills, San Gabriel Valley New Generation, and Red Rock Rotary. 

 

I am closing the year by distributing wheelchairs in Hermosillo and San Carlos, Mexico, with 18 other Rotarians.  Your contributions of $85,000, which exceeded your initial pledge amount of $74,000, is allowed us to deliver 560 wheelchairs in Hermosillo and San Carlos June 13-16.  Another 280 will be delivered in Micheocan in September.
