GOVERNOR'S CORNER
The FowlersJust a quick note to let you know that First Lady Deborah and I are looking forward to greeting all of you at the District Conference.  Be sure to register soon.  The entire District Board of Directors (Roger Schulte, PDG, Tom Novotny, PDG, Gene Hernandez, PDG, Christine Montan, PDG, Dr. Sylvia Whitlock, DGE, Miles Petroff, DGN, and Larry Skaggs, DGND) all look forward to greeting you as well.
A Special note on the wheelchair project

There have been questions regarding the wheelchair distribution project taking place in June and early fall.  The effort to distribute wheelchairs to those in need takes collaborative efforts on both sides of the border.  In order to take possession of the wheelchairs for distribution, the participating club in Mexico must pay import fees for containers.  These fees can run anywhere between $2,500.00 and $3,000.00.  If you haven't already signed up to help, give it some thought.  We need all the help we can get!  For more information, CLICK HERE.
