Looking for a Program?

Kristine Pederson studied at UCLA and Brandeis University's School for Social Policy and Management where she earned her BA and MA in International Development, respectively. She has worked on education and rural livelihood projects in New Zealand, Tanzania, Cambodia and perhaps most significantly in India. Prior to entering graduate school, she spent a little over a year volunteering at PACE Universal's Piyali Learning Center (PLC) in Piyali, India. After graduating, she returned to Piyali as PACE's Field Services Representative where she has since been working on developing new programs to ensure that PLC students have the opportunity to benefit fully from their education.  Kristine is willing to drive down to speak at rotary meetings until June 12, 2012.  If you are interested in having Kristine visit your club, please contact Dr. Sylvia Whitlock at rotarysylvia@gmail.com.  Be sure to include two or three date alternatives for ease of scheduling.
