DISTRICT LEADERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENTS

RESOLUTIONS FOR DISTRICT CONFERENCE

Any resolutions that will be considered at the District Conference in Lake Arrowhead on June 1st need to be submitted to the Board of Governors by March 15th.  The District By-Laws, which can be found on the district website at www.district5300.org, can only be amended at a District Conference, so if any club has amendments they want considered, they need to get to them submitted prior to the deadline.  For additional information, contact PDG Jerry Tambe at gctambe@yahoo.com.

ROTARY GOES MOBILE

Breaking from the traditional radio/newspaper/billboard efforts of recent Rotary International PR grants, this year we have teamed up with three neighboring Districts to take our message on the road...quite literally. With the generous assistance of Iconography Studios and the donation of trailer space from Ability Tri-Modal, ten semi-trucks will be FULLY WRAPPED with Rotary messages, including polio eradication, clean water and literacy. Each includes a text-to-donate message, as well as invitations to learn more. A website is in development at SoCalRotary.org. Check out this website to see the project in progress: http://www.iconographystudios.net/rotary-international-changing-the-world/. In addition, watch for a "guest appearance" by one of the trucks at the District Assembly on April 14.
