GOVERNOR'S CORNER

Having just completed an evening visit with Foothill Communities New Generation Club, I find that Rotary is in fine hands with this new generation group.  Their plans and vision they bring to the table are bigger, better, and bolder projects for humanity.  If you haven't already visited this new generation club, please make plans to visit them soon.  They are the "newest twist to the OLDEST service club".

DISTRICT LEADERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENTS

IT'S TIME TO LAUNCH ENTREPRENEURIAL LITERACY PROGRAMS IN LOCAL SCHOOLS

School has started.  Ask your business-savvy members and educational leaders to contact local schools and school districts to initiate classes that teach business basics and how to write business plans.  This effort can ultimately lead to Job Creation & Entrepreneurship, the new Area of Service focus of Rotary International.  Providing high school youth entrepreneurial tools and experiences, we help prepare them for their future.

For information about the District Business Plan Competition and the NewGen program contact C. Ray Carlson at ray@rotapreneur.com  or 1-800-448-3456.
