I hope everyone is enjoying this wonderful Spring in Iowa! Be on the lookout for your 2012 chamber directories. They are something new and special this year. The directory is a great tool to use to support and network with your fellow chamber members. We would like to thank all the businesses who purchased an ad this year, without them we would not have the funds to produce this great marketing piece.
We are fine tuning the plans for the 2012 Taste of the South Side. Please make sure to purchase your tickets and if you have any final donations to contribute to the auctions raising money for student scholarships, we certainly welcome them.
Congratulations to Chuck Mettler, SDM Volunteer of the year and Laurie Philips, SDM Educator of the year. These two fine individuals will be honored at the Taste of the South Side on May 10th at Jasper Winery.
We hope to see you soon at one of our many upcoming events this month and THANK YOU for your chamber membership and all that you do to make the East & South sides such a great community to be in!
