The Panasonic WV-SW559 and WV-SW558 are apart of a series of 1080p full HD network cameras that deliver full HD images and 360p images simultaneously. Enclosed in a IP66-rated water- and dust-resistant dome, these vandal-resistant cameras use a 2.8-10mm 3.6x varifocal auto-iris lens. Panasonic's UniPhier® S newest generation LSI processor provides simultaneous cropping of whole and part images, lower bandwidth storage requirements, more VIQS zones, dual H.264 streaming capability and overall higher-level functionality. VIQS (variable image quality on specified areas), combined with efficient compression, enables network bandwidth reduction of 50 percent by decreasing the image quality for less important areas in a video frame (such as the sky), while retaining image quality for critical parts of the view. Face detection analytics detect the position of a human face and send the information by video stream. Face Super Dynamic Range ensures clear face images. Auto back focus (ABF) allows easy installation and stable focus in color and black-and-white modes (WV-SW559 model only).

The IPGSM-DP Commercial Fire Communicator is used to upgrade a commercial fire system that previously reported to the Central Station by phone lines (POTS), to a system that uses an Internet or GSM cellular reporting path. The IPGSM-DP communicates via the AlarmNet relay point and has Dual Primary methods of operation. In method one, the unit communicates over the internet as primary and utilizes GSM cellular as a backup, should the internet be unavailable. In method two, the unit communicates via GSM cellular, so no communications cabling is needed. The communications method (IP/GSM or GSM only) is field selectable and easily set up. The unit answers any phone number dialed so Fire Panel programming changes are at a minimum when converting existing systems over to this communications method.
