Volunteer For the Old Time Music Festival
Once again plans are being made for Old-Time Music Festival scheduled for June 17th from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and June 18th from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. in downtown West Plains. Volunteers are needed to help with the festival. If you have not volunteered before and would like to help, you may contact Joe Davis at 417-372-2963 for more information.

When: Saturday April 30th, 2011
Tentative Schedule:
9:00am Registration
9:15am Rules Review
9:30am 1st Round of Tournament
11:00am Slam Dunk Contest
11:45am 3 Point Contest
12:45pm Remainder of 3 on 3 tournament
Where: West Plains Middle School Gymnasium/FEMA Building
Cost: $40.00 per team if pre-registered/ $60.00 per team registering the day of the tournament.
Eligibility: Anyone is eligible to participate in the tournament. Several different divisions. 3 or 4 players on each team.
Divisions: 14 and under male/15 and over male/ 14 and under female/15 and over female
Awards: Tournament Champions, Slam Dunk winner, 3 point winner, best team uniform winner.

The West Plains FFA Needs Your Support!
The West Plains FFA is participating in a National FFA challenge and needs your support! The challenge is reach out to as many people in the agriculture field as possible. If you or somebody you know would like to vote please visit www.FFAChapterChallenge.com.
If the West Plains FFA chapter has enough votes to place in the top ten then they will receive a 1500.00 line of credit with National FFA. If they are the overall winner they will win an all expense paid trip for 6 students to National Convention to Indianapolis, Indiana.
