SCCC's Automotive Collision Class Receives Safety Glasses Donation
Students in Ron Longnecker's Automotive Collision class at the South Central Career Center were chosen to receive a donation of safety glasses from the SAS Safety Corporation. These donated safety glasses were distributed to the SCCC class as part of a grant called the 'Ultimate Collision Education Makeover' from the Collision Repair Education Foundation (formerly the I-CAR Education Foundation). Across the country, students will be safer in their collision programs through SAS Safety Corp.'s donation of over 6,000 pairs of their "Killer Bee" safety glasses.
For additional information about SAS Safety Corp. visit www.sassafety.com.

B.A.S.E Basketball Clinics
The Before and After School Program is sponsoring a basketball clinic for 3rd and 4th grade boys at West Plains Elementary School and 5th and 6th grade boys and girls at West Plains Middle School beginning April 19.
The clinic will include instruction in the fundamentals as well as games contests. Each participant will receive a t-shirt.
This is a fundraising event for the BASE program which is currently operating under a Federal Grant. The grant funding reduces annually until the funding stops at the end of the 2011 - 2012 school year. Funds raised now will continue this great program after funding has stopped. Support your only before and after school program at West Plains Elementary and West Plains Middle Schools.
