Coffee Talk!
Coffee Talk is a time for parents to discuss various school topics on a monthly basis with West Plains R-VII Superintendent Dr. Fred Czerwonka.
November's Coffee Talk is Wednesday, November 17th from 10:00 -11:000 a.m. in the High School Library Computer Lab.
- This month's topic will be Parent Portal, presented by the District's Director of Technology, Jonathan Hufstedler. Parent Portal allows parents to log in and check their child's grades, attendance, discipline, etc. in real time. Parent Portal also has a list of programs specific to parents such as Parent Forms and Meal Pay.
- Refreshments will be served.
If you do not already have a username and password for Parent Portal, please stop by your child's building before the meeting and one will be issued to you. Please have your ID readily available.

The WPHS National Honor Society is hosting a Red Cross Blood Mobile in the Sports Complex on Tuesday, November 23rd from 7:30 am to 2:30 p.m. The goal this year is 180 pints of blood. All are encouraged to give. Students must be at least 16 years old. For more information please contact Dalena Allen via email at dallen@zizzers.org or by phone at 417-256-6150.

Zizzer Theatre Night at Colton's
The WPHS Zizzer Theatre has a Colton's Steakhouse & Grill night scheduled on Monday, November 8th to benefit the upcoming production of Disney's High School Musical. When Colton's receives 450 guests they will donate 10% of the proceeds to the Zizzer Theatre!! Please go and show your support of the WPHS Zizzer Theatre! |

South Fork Elementary's Fall Box Top Kickoff is a Success
The South Fork Elementary Fall Box Top Kickoff raised over $350! Thank you to all the parents, students and staff that helped with the fundraiser.
Please continue to save your box tops. The emblem pictured can be found on a variety of General Mills products. Each is worth 10 cents! Box Top donations can be dropped off at the South Fork office. |

South Fork is Giving Away Christmas!
South Fork Elementary students have an amazing opportunity to experience the joy of giving at Christmas this year. Each class at South Fork will participate in a program called Operation Christmas Child. This programs gives children in third world countries the chance to experience the blessings of Christmas time. Each class will be given a show box to fill with goodies and toys. The gifts will then be tracked as it travels from country to country providing an excellent learning opportunity for the students.

WPHS Veteran's Day Assembly
The West Plains High School will host its annual Veteran's Day Assembly on Thursday, November 11th at 9:00 am. This year, WPHS would like to invite all alumni who have served our country in any branch of the Armed Forces to join them for the assembly. If you are an alumni or know a Zizzer who has served, please contact Jim Laughary at jlaughary@zizzers.org so that we may recognize them. The speaker this year will be Mike Pace. |
