DISCIPLESHIP AND MISSIONS

Advent Studies: Advent 101 & The Uncluttered Heart
Advent 101
Come and learn about what advent is and you can use this time to spiritually prepare for Christmas in one of two sessions: Wednesday, November 16, at 6:30 p.m. or Sunday, November 20, at 11:00 a.m.

The Uncluttered Heart offers four weeks of guided reflection through the weeks of Advent through Epiphany. The reflection requires only 15 minutes a day as you make space for God's hope, peace, joy, love, and presence. There will be two sessions; Sundays, 11-noon, November 20-December 18, or Wednesday's, 6:30-8:00 p.m., November 30-January 4. Register online! For more information about either study, contact Dianne Morrison, dianne.morrison@gmail.com, 706-207-5538.

Wesley Foundation Special Offering

Christ-centered, Biblically-based, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, the Wesley  Foundation is committed to raising up a new generation of Christian leaders. They are dedicated to winning the lost to Christ, training believers to be disciples, and equipping disciples to become disciple-makers. Next Sunday, November 20, we will take up a special offering to support the Wesley Foundation at all three worship services. Please prayerfully consider supporting this effort.

Giving Thanks

Fall Agape

Thank you for your donations of paper products, plastic baggies, and hand sanitizer. Your giving will bless the recipients and is appreciated.

Thank You From Cuba

The mission team has returned from Cuba, and we thank you for your support and prayers. Solid relationships have been formed with the Methodist Church in Gibara, Cuba (on the Northern Coast, toward the eastern end of the island), and with Pastor Pedro Cabrera and his family. They are a vibrant and growing church.

December 4 - Lessons and Carols

Please join us for
 Thanksgiving Ingathering
on Sunday, November 20 at 12:30!

We'll be delivering food to families in our community
(Clarke County) who need some help with their Thanksgiving meal, so we need lots of youth to bring food and help with delivery! Each participant will be assigned to a car with two adult chaperones, and each car will deliver to three or four families. Once the deliveries are complete, the participants are
free to go (around 2:00 p.m.).

This is a great opportunity for the youth to be in mission in our community, so we hope you can join us!

If you have any questions, please contact Daynes @ 770-778-7529.
