Jason's Jots

The older I get and the longer I work I begin to realize more how much everyone's time is demanded. If I want to sit down and talk with someone, I have to first look at my schedule, they have to do the same, and then hopefully something will work out. It is strange that even to have a ten-minute conversation, there has to be a scheduled appointment one week in advance.

After thinking about this, it really helped me realize how privileged we all are to serve the God we serve. I can't meet with someone without a scheduled time, but I can meet with the God of the universe at any moment of any day. The same God who is creating new babies everyday will meet with me joyfully at any moment I ask. How good is our God? He is so good that He promises us in Matthew 28 that He "will be with us always." So remember, the one you can always call on who will meet with you and answer you is your Father in Heaven.
