Did You Know? · Rubber bands last longer when refrigerated. · There are 293 ways to make change for a dollar. · There are more chickens than people in the world. · No word in the English language rhymes with month, orange, silver, or purple. · Maine is the only state whose name is just one syllable. · A cat has 32 muscles in each ear. · An ostrich's eye is bigger than its brain. · A goldfish has a memory span of three seconds. · A dime has 118 ridges around the edge. · It's impossible to sneeze with your eyes open. · The microwave was invented after a researcher walked by a radar tube and a chocolate bar melted in his pocket. · The average person falls asleep in seven minutes. I don't know if any of the above is true. It is nonsensical information or misinformation that I have come across. I have wasted enough of your time with this article. Here is what I do know: This past Sunday, our church family gathered at Sandy Creek Park for an old-fashioned covered dish dinner with barbecue as the main course. We ate and talked and sang and played and gave, and it was one of the best times of my life. It is so good to be a part of our church, such a blessing to know you and serve with you. We received $65,000 toward retiring our debt. What a wonderful example of the generous spirit of our congregation! Thanks for the memories. It is good to be in ministry with you.
