Athens and The Classic Center were honored to again host the North Georgia United Methodist Conference June 12-16. The NGUMC has contracted to return to Athens through 2015. |

Chuck Jones attended the Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism/Culinary programs advisory committee meeting at the Athens Technical College Monroe campus June 19. The committee was treated to hors d' oeuvres provided by current students. |
 A celebratory Topping Off luncheon was held at the Classic Center June 15 to mark the important construction milestone of installation of the expansion's highest beam.  Chuck Jones gave a guided tour of downtown Athens and held a "How Well do you Know Athens?" trivia contest program during UGA's 7th Annual New to Finance and Administration Day on May 15. Joseph Teskey with Parking Services, pictured above, won the trivia contest and received an assortment of Athens gift items. |
