AllDayPlay App Launches In Android Marketplace
The AllDayPlay mobile app is available for download in the Android Marketplace, and has surpassed 1500 downloads thus far. The app, developed by Youth Radio's Mobile App Lab, enables mobile access to AllDayPlay.fm's live stream of 34 mix shows, with more than 100 contributing DJs. Click here to download. |

Youth Radio Airs on Marketplace
 TV producers and advertisers are struggling to adapt to the changing face of television, and teens are at the leading edge of shifting viewing habits, consuming video across a range of devices and sometimes subverting the traditional advertising model to donate directly to shows through websites like Kickstarter. Youth Radio Honors Graduates, Pandora & Girls Inc.
In December, Youth Radio held its Inaugural Recognition Ceremony and Community Champion Awards. Core and Bridge students from the fall 2011 session were honored in a graduation ceremony, and Youth Radio recognized its first Community Champions: Joe Kennedy, CEO of Pandora, and Linda Boessenecker, Executive Director of Girls Inc. The event featured delicious food from Youth Radio Eats, and was followed by an energetic performance of music, poetry and spoken word from Youth Radio's Remix Your Life.
