We're Almost There - 75% of our $20,000 Goal Already Raised!

Causes Logo New As we reported last month, Youth Radio was awarded broadcast journalism's highest honor, a

George Foster Peabody Award, for our investigative series on child sex trafficking,  Trafficked: A Youth Radio Investigation.

Youth Radio is working hard to raise the funds we need to send our investigative team to the 70th Annual George Foster Peabody Awards Ceremony in New York to receive this extremely prestigious honor.

You may have seen our original $20,000 goal quickly drop.  That is due entirely to the wonderful contributions of supporters like you. Thank you!

Only $5,000 left to meet our goal!

Your support will help cover the out-of-pocket costs of purchasing tickets to the awards and travel to New York City.

One way you can help send Youth Radio to the Peabody Awards ceremony is by joining us on  Causes where you can donate, recruit your Facebook friends to the cause, and keep updated on Youth Radio's goals.  Youth Radio's current goal is $5,000, and every donation brings us closer to the goal.

We also have wonderful corporate sponsorship opportunities.  To find out more, please contact: Jabari Gray, Development Manager at jabari@youthradio.org. Thank you for your support!
