Carmike Cinema Karate Kid Demonstration - Saturday June 19, 2010
11:30am-1:00pm
 We are scheduled to be in the lobby of the Carmike Cinema on June
19th to help the promotion of the new martial art movie "The Karate
Kid". The box office doors will open at 11:30 and we have been given the
lobby for the first showing. The event is scheduled to end at 1pm. We will be closing out the demo list on Tuesday of this week. Remember,
you must have your parent's permission to attend the demonstration if
you are under the age of 18. Please sign up in the lobby of the Academy
if you wish to participate. You can also see Mr. Ashton, Pavel, or Pitt
for further information. |

Dear Parents and Students,
As we enter the summer months, our new training cycle starts this week with learning or perfecting our forms. We have to remember that forms are an artistic expression of Tiger Rock TaeKwonDo and are considered the basis and foundation of our art. We will be doing floor exercises, forms reviews, and group practices this week to aid in the memorization of our forms.
We encourage all of our student to also practice their past forms.
Parents and students are reminded to login to itaonline.com and make sure that their membership dues are current, so that they will be able to register for upcoming events. White Belt students and new Tiger Cubs will be pre registered. White Belt students have their memberships paid for the first 60 days. All other students must have their memberships current. Membership in the Tiger Rock Martial Arts, Inc allows you to participate in rank testings, tournaments, and gives you visitation privileges to all Tiger Rock franchised schools in the US and other countries.

RETURN SPARRING GEAR WORKSHEETS ASAP!
 Sparring Gear worksheets were handed out to our Green Belt Level 1 students last week.We need to have them back to Mr. Ashton as soon as possible so that we can order the gear for our students. We will begin sparring next week and all Green Belt students and above must have the proper safety equipment BEFORE we allow participation in the sparring portion of the classes.
