Dear Parents and Students,
The training emphasis for the next two weeks will be TESTING PREPARATION which includes a Board Breaking Clinic on Saturday May 29th. With testing only a couple of weeks away we still have several students that have not completed or scheduled their private lesson. We have many opportunities still available to make sure you complete your requirements to test.
I would like to thank all of the students and Mr Pitt and Mr. Pavel for giving a great demonstration at the Charity Bowl. Although the tailgate event was essentially a non-event, our students performed admirably! This is a mark of true professionalism. We are still scheduled to be in the lobby of the Carmike Cinema on June 19th to help the promotion of the new martial art movie "The Karate Kid". Please sign up in the lobby of the Academy if you wish to participate. You can also see Mr. Ashton, Pavel, or Pitt for further information.
Testing will be held on the first weekend of June! Please get your private lessons scheduled today!
Parents and students are reminded to login to itaonline.com and make sure that their membership dues are current, so that they will be able to register for upcoming events. White Belt students and new Tiger Cubs will be pre registered. White Belt students have their memberships paid for the first 60 days. All other students must have their memberships current. Membership in the Tiger Rock Martial Arts, Inc allows you to participate in rank testings, tournaments, and gives you visitation privileges to all Tiger Rock franchised schools in the US and other countries.

Board Breaking Clinic = Ready for Testing!
 The Board Breaking Clinic for this cycle will be held at the Academy on Saturday May 29, 2010 at 3pm. All Green Belt students and above are invited to attend. This is a special class that will last approximately 2-3 hours. We will be covering the dynamics of board breaking, the techniques that we will be wanting to see from our color belts at testing, and each student will break with two techniques...one hand and one foot. Cost for the clinic is $15 per student. We must have a valid list by Friday May 28th so that we can purchase the wood and have them cut for the students on Saturday. Remember ... all Level 3 color belt students to red belt must break a rebreakable board at testing. It is highly recommended that if your are a Level 3 color belt, red belt of any level or a black belt student, that you attend this clinic to prepare for testing. Bring your focus targets and rebreakable boards if you have them. See our staff and sign up today!

Test Schedule and Registration Information forTesting for this Cycle - JUNE 4-6
 Testing for your next rank is only weeks away! We are planning on testing students according to the following schedule. Remember, ALL STUDENTS TESTING FOR THEIR NEXT RANK ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A PRIVATE LESSON PRIOR TO THEIR TEST. Please start making arrangements now with our instructors for your private lesson. The Academy staff can register you for testing now. Please check with the front office, register for testing, and pay your testing fees.
