Tiger Rock Jacksonville has a new website!
The past few weeks have been very exciting for us here in the office! We have started a new website outside of the Corporate Tiger Rock MAI website that we all know. One of our own students, 1st Degree Black Belt Monica Brady has been instrumental in the development of the new site. Although it is not yet finished, the website shows great promise with an instructor bio section, news, special offers, calendar of events, class schedule and so much more. The most exciting feature is the Pro Shop. Here you will be able to shop online for all of the latest martial arts products that we offer and even have the items delivered to your door! If you wish you can save the shipping costs and pick up your items here at the academy!

Student Volunteers Needed for Demonstrations
The Charity Bowl will be held on May 22nd 2010 in support of the Relay for Life. There will be a family friendly tailgate party in the parking lot of Jacksonville High School in the hours preceding the game. We will be doing two demonstrations that day! We need volunteers to participate in the demonstrations. Please see a staff member or sign up on the clipboard in the lobby. We will also be doing a demonstration at the Carmike Theater on June 19th during the running of the new martial arts movie " The Karate Kid". Sign up in the lobby today with either Mr. Pavel or Mr. Pitt!!!

TIGER ROCK WORLD TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIPS

The schedule of events for the Tiger Rock World Championships and Black Belt Camp are now posted online at www.itaonline.com or in the Tiger Rock News which is available in the lobby of the Academy. All Registrations for these events are to be completed online using your unique member id and password. If you do not know your member id or password, please see Mr Ashton or a staff member and they will be happy to help you!
Tiger Rock Martial Arts International has made discounted rooms available at the Jackson Marriot for only $99.00 per night! This is a great savings and another benefit of being a Tiger Rock Member!

Dear Parents and Students,
This week's training emphasis is FORMS. Forms have been used for centuries by martial arts training facilities to enhance and improve technique. We will be reviewing the Junior forms taught earlier in the cycle and continue to teach the second half of the forms to the Adult class.
We will be needing volunteers for the demonstrations that we have coming up. The Charity Bowl for the Relay for Life will be having a family friendly tailgate party and we have the opportunity to do a demonstration for that event. Also we will be in the lobby of the Carmike Cinema on June 19th to help the promotion of the new martial art movie "The Karate Kid". Please sign up in the lobby of the Academy if you wish to participate. You can also see Mr. Ashton, Pavel, or Pitt for further information.
Testing will be held on the first weekend of June! Please get your private lessons scheduled today!
Parents and students are reminded to login to itaonline.com and make sure that their membership dues are current, so that they will be able to register for upcoming events. White Belt students and new Tiger Cubs will be pre registered. White Belt students have their memberships paid for the first 60 days. All other students must have their memberships current. Membership in the Tiger Rock Martial Arts, Inc allows you to participate in rank testings, tournaments, and gives you visitation privileges to all Tiger Rock franchised schools in the US and other countries.

 Testing for your next rank is only weeks away! We are planning on testing students during the first weekend of June 2010. Remember, ALL STUDENTS TESTING FOR THEIR NEXT RANK ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A PRIVATE LESSON PRIOR TO THEIR TEST. Please start making arrangements now with our instructors for your private lesson. Let's work hard to perfect our techniques and make this next testing an event to remember.
