Relay for Life Team
Our team is the TKD Cancer Kickers with Mrs. Anne Ashton as the team captain! In the coming weeks, Mrs Ashton will be bringing information about this event. If you would like to participate as a team member you may register online as follows:

The Onslow County Relay for life is to show everyone that cancer awareness is not always about
sickness and sadness.
We have a lot of fun at Relay. We play games all through the night.
We share a lot of laughter throughout the 24 hours we spend together.
Relay is a CELEBRATION of LIFE.
Relay is a time to REMEMBER &
REFLECT. Relay brings our community together to FIGHT BACK. Through events like
the Relay for Life, we are able to raise money to help fund
research, advocacy, education, scholarships, bring awareness and
hopefully, one day erradicate cancer. We Relay so no one ever has to
hear those horrible three words "You have cancer".
In the Tiger Rock spirit of Community, please help us in
this very worthwhile annual event!

Dear Parents and Students,
This week's training emphasis is FORMS We will work on making our forms powerful and artistic expressions of our martiial art. All drills this week are created to enhance proper stances, pre-posittioning, and proper execution of our techniques. We must train HARD to get results.
A big thank you goes out to the students and their families who participated in the Tiger Rock Kick a Thon on Saturday. It was a huge success and a wonderful time was had by all in support of a very good cause.
This weekend we will be involved in the Relay for Life sponsored by the American Cancer Society. We will still have all scheduled classes on Friday and Saturday. If you wish to join our team, there is still time left to do so, otherwise don't hesitate to see your TaeKonDo Cancer Kickers in action doing the walk to fight cancer.
Parents and students are reminded to login to itaonline.com and make sure that their membership dues are current, so that they will be able to register for upcoming events. White Belt students and new Tiger Cubs will be pre registered. White Belt students have their memberships paid for the first 60 days. All other students must have their memberships current. Membership in the Tiger Rock Martial Arts, Inc allows you to participate in rank testings, tournaments, and gives you visitation privileges to all Tiger Rock franchised schools in the US and other countries.

Kick-A-Thon to Kick out Cancer!
 The Tiger Rock TaeKwonDo Academy hosted a Kick-A-Thon to raise funds for our Relay for Life Team. The event was held to raise funds for Cancer Awareness in Onslow County. The Kickers did a wonderful job raising $1,007.01 cents during the two hour kicking session.
They were AMAZING as the group pictured above pounded out 32,566 kicks proving that Tiger Rock TaeKwonDo students believe in the TaeKwonDo Tenet of Community!

TIGER ROCK WORLD TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIPS

The schedule of events for the Tiger Rock World Championships and Black Belt Camp are now posted online at www.itaonline.com or in the Tiger Rock News which is available in the lobby of the Academy. All Registrations for these events are to be completed online using your unique member id and password. If you do not know your member id or password, please see Mr Ashton or a staff member and they will be happy to help you!
Tiger Rock Martial Arts International has made discounted rooms available at the Jackson Marriot for only $99.00 per night! This is a great savings and another benefit of being a Tiger Rock Member!
