Award Ceremony Thursday Feb 11 at the Jacksonville Commons Elementary School
6pm for Tiger Cubs and all Juniors
7pm for Adults and Super Juniors
Classes for this cycle begin on Friday Feb 12th
MWF 4pm Juniors Beginner Classes -White/Yellow JCRec Center
MWF 5:30pm Junior Intermediate and Advanced - Green and above at JC Elementary School
MWF 6:30pm Mixed Belt Adult and Super Juniors JC Elementary School
TuThurs 6pm Mixed Belt Juniors Northwoods Rec Center
Look for our new belt system which aligns itself with the Black Belt system. All new colored belts at Green and above will have 3 levels to advance to the new color. This exciting change will make us all better martial artists!

Spring Regional Tournament Is Around the Corner!
Start making plans now to attend the Tiger Training and Spring Regional Championships on March 19th and 20th in Augusta, Georgia. Those who have attended our tournaments can attest to the fact that your participation in our tournaments makes you a better martial artist. They are informative, exciting, and most of all a fun event! More information will be posted in this newsletter as it becomes available. We hope to have a large percentage of our student body participate!

Relay for Life Team
The Annual American Cancer Society Relay for Life is gearing up here in Onslow County. We are happy to be fielding a team for this event. Our team is the TKD Cancer Kickers with Mrs. Anne Ashton as the team captain! In the coming weeks, Mrs Ashton will be bringing information about this event. If you would like to participate as a team member you may register online as follows:

Tuition Payments Notice
The Jacksonville Commons Recreation and Parks Department has asked that we remind you to have your tuition paid in full within the first week of the month. Students should not be taking classes that have not been paid for. Tuition payments can be processed online! Contact Nick at 938-5317 to find out how to pay your tuition without having to come into the Rec Center office!

Dear Parents and Students,
Congratulations to all of our students who participated in the lastest Rank Testing! Your efforts will be rewarded over your lifetimes as you demonstrated our art under the pressure of testing, and came through with flying colors!
It has been some time since a newsletter hit your email in boxes.
Be sure to check this issue for news about our upcoming tournament, the move of our school to the Cross Pointe Shopping Center (Old Navy, Shogun, Hallmark), our Relay for Life Team and our Virginia Diner Fundraiser.
Parents and students are reminded to login to itaonline.com and make sure that their membership dues are current, so that they will be able to register for upcoming events. White Belt students and new Tiger Cubs will be pre registered and their member numbers and passwords will be e mailed to them. White Belt students have their memberships paid for the first 60 days. All other students must have their memberships current. Membership in the ITA allows you to participate in rank testings, tournaments, and gives you visitation privileges to all ITA franchised schools in the US and other countries.

Moving out to Cross Pointe Shopping Center!
As with any change, we expect to experience "growing pains", such as moving to a billing system, rather than making payments as you have done with the recreation department. We will have more information on our new partnership with Member Solutions. They are ready to provide excellent customer service to our ITA members and you will see how easy it will be to make payments! Just think! There will be no more problems with the recreation department website, forgetting to come in and pay, and having ease of mind, knowing that your customer service needs are being cared for by a top rate company!
I will be sending an introductory letter to all members on this e mail listing about Members Solutions and we look forward to doing business with them in the future.

Virginia Diner Peanut Fund Raiser
As part of our efforts to meet our goals in the Relay for Life, we are having a fund raiser!
Virginia Diner products are among the best tasting treats you can buy! Mrs Anne Ashton will be leading the fund raising effort for our TaeKwonDo Cancer Kickers. She will be bringing more information to classes as well as samples of these delicious peanuts for you to try!
