While the snow falls and the winds howl outside, it is never too early to start tuning up your golf game, particularly your putting. The 18^th annual SJHS Spartan Scramble will be held at Hill Crest Country Club in Lower Burrell, PA on Monday, June 14th, 2010. The putting stakes have been doubled! Anchor Inn, the Putting Contest sponsor for a number of years, has doubled the prize to $10,000! This contest is in addition to the many skill prizes and hole-in-one prizes offered every year.

If you have never been to the SJHS Spartan Scramble, the day starts with registration and lunch followed by a noon shot gun start. Dinner and an auction follow eighteen holes of scramble format golf. The putting contest is held throughout the day, with players lining up for their chance when their foursome makes the turn. The final round of the putting contest occurs before dinner.

Mark your calendar and tell Santa you need that new putter! If you are not quite up to 18 holes of golf, plan on joining us for dinner and the auction to benefit SJHS!
