Welcome to the New Year!

Chicktime has lots in store for the women and children we will serve in 2012. With volunteer groups positioned all around Texas, our dream of like minded women coming together to make a real difference is truly a reality. We are most excited this month about our first International Chapter (Cambodia) coming together for the first time to 'play' with the children they serve!

By 'like minded' we mean women who need to know that our lives are spent making the lives of those around us better. That can mean showing up at a local children's home just to let the little ones know that they are loved, coming together to serve a meal to the homeless, or baking cookies with our own children in our own homes to deliver to the elderly, or even advocating on Capitol Hill for stronger laws to protect the children of abusive parents.

If you have never been to a Chicktime event, I encourage you to visit our online calendar and find a Chicktime Event close to you that fits your schedule... and if you can't find one... please consider gathering the women in your life and starting a Chicktime group in your area.
