Dear friends:
 
In this time of great stress we look to the Lord for consolation and healing. Scripture teaches us that we are buried with Christ in his death and raised with him to newness of life, this means that whatever our problems, the Lord carries those problems with him as his own. And with his resurrection we are transformed each day and given a joyous new life, a fresh beginning. In this holy season, may the Lord gives us all his special blessing.

Spring Clean-up! - March 21st

Let's get the church ready for Holy Week! Wear your dungarees to church on Sunday, March 21st.  Then we'll clean, polish, dust, mop and more immediately after coffee hour. We'll get the church to shine for this important week of services and help the Good Shepherd put its best face forward for any newcomers who may visit us during Easter season.

Be sure to get your family picture taken to be included in our new church directory. You'll get a free 8x10 photo. You'll also have the opportunity to buy more photos if you like. Sign up in the parish hall.
 
Holy Week Services 
 
Palm Sunday - March 28th 9am
The Church School will recite the Passion and palms will be distributed to the congregation.
 
Maunday Thursday - April 1st 7pm
 
Good Friday - April 2nd 7pm
 
Holy Saturday - April 3rd 7pm
 
Easter Sunday - April 4th 9am
Special music including a guest trumpeter, beautiful flowers and the annual Easter Egg Hunt immediately
following the service.

It takes time, talent and treasure to keep the Good Shepherd going. Basic operations for the church, as well as salaries for our wonderful people like Scott, Florence and Merritt, are paid for with your donations. A pledge helps us to know what to expect for donations for the year and enables the vestry to build a realistic budget. If you have not yet made your 2010 pledge, please consider doing so today. Just cut out this pledge card and drop it in the collection plate or mail it in - or call 781-326-3052 to have a pledge card mailed to you.
