Greetings!

The response to the launch of our website has been overwhelmingly positive. We set out to develop an easy-to-read library of information and an effective, moderated private forum for our clients. We have received such heartwarming comments we decided to share a few with you in "Quotable Quotes."

In this initial newsletter we include a brief interview in "Getting to Know You." Please take a few minutes to learn more about Julia, our website  manager.

Please share this newsletter with others and give us your feedback so we know what you like and what you would like to see in the future.

Getting to Know You
JuliaMeet Julia, CIR Website Manager

One of the first people you meet on our registered forum is Julia, who maintains our website.

Julia has so many interests beyond CIR that we wonder where she finds the time. She is a teacher specializing in remedial math for 7-11 year olds and she loves working with her local church, especially in the children's program and activities. She's also an avid bird watcher; her recent vacation was devoted to bird-watching in South Wales.

When we asked Julia why she is a CIR volunteer, she said, "I like feeling that I am giving something back. It's so satisfying to be able to introduce people to the therapy that's given me my health back."

What tip would Julia give to CIR clients?
"I would encourage people to come to the general discussion forum and meet the other patients."

Thanks for being a vital part of the CIR team, Julia!

About Our Services

"I really like the website appearance. It was beautifully done and very professional and easy to read and navigate."

"I need the day-to-day support we can all give each other in the discussion forum but I want my medical advice to come from trained, experienced people who understand this process on a level I can only conceive of and that really want us to get well. It's going to be the best of both worlds." ~ Alycia2

"I am getting a better handle on my meds and disease, it has been amazing that so much has turned around so quickly after signing on with this group." ~ Cupcake

"Having the support of this site gives me the sense of security I need." ~ Flintstone

About Chronic Illness Recovery

Chronic Illness Recovery was established in 2009 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Our application for tax exempt status under IRS rules is pending. We have accomplished much this year, thanks to our dedicated volunteers and the physicians and patients we are privileged to work with on a daily basis.

We will continue this work with encouragement and financial gifts from those who believe in our mission to assist physicians and their patients learning about inflammation therapy. If you are interested in our services or would like to make a donation, please consult our website page or call our toll free number 1-888-846-2474.
