Lisztomania 2011 in Burgenland, Austria
Child prodigy, piano virtuoso, heartthrob and enchanter of Europe's concert halls: Franz Liszt was one of the most dazzling musical personalities of the Romantic era.   On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of Liszt's birth in Raiding, the commemorative year Lisztomania 2011 is being staged in the province of Burgenland, with a superlative programme of concerts at the Liszt Festival Raiding, six multi-facetted exhibitions and a wide variety of special projects.
Grand Prix of Choral Music or the World Choir Championships  in Graz, Austria

The choral event in Graz contains of two different events:
the 2nd Grand Prix of Choral Music and the 1st World Choir 
Championships for Youth and Young Adults!
 
Both choral events assure indescribable emotional moments and a sophisticated, varied general program.  Apart from a parade of the choirs, open air concerts in the city centre, daily performances of prize winners, gala concerts in a great atmosphere and the international choir show "We are the world" there will be many possibilities to hear choirs from all over the world. This will turn the whole city of Graz as well as Styria into one big choral happening!  A special highlight at the 2nd Grand Prix of Choral Music is: The winner of each category will be awarded a prize of 5,000 Euro!
Wesley Heritage Tour
St. Andrews Church Tour England with your choir or heritage group, visiting the sites of Methodist history and tracing the lives of John and Charles Wesley.

·The Old Rectory in Epworth, where John Wesley was born in 1703.

·Christ Church College and Cathedral in Oxford, where John and Charles were undergraduates.

·The New Room in Bristol, the oldest Methodist building in the world, where your choir may sing.

·Charles Wesley's House where he lived with his family and wrote some of his 6,000 hymns.

·Wesley's Chapel and House in London, where your choir may sing during Sunday church services, tour the house where John lived, and visit the Museum of Methodism.
