On January 10, 2010, the American- German Club of the Palm Beaches (AGC) elected during its annual membership meeting, the following candidates as officers and directors for 2010:
Officers:

Guenter Schirmer, Vice President
John Stanton, Treasurer
Brent Wacker, Secretary
Directors:
Art Radun, Bill Wise, Carl Dietrich, Robert Egold
The new Board will take office on February 12, 2010
"The new Board will keep fostering mutual friendship and relationship with German Culture, to spread among others an understanding of German Traditions & Customs " said Tom Foster the current and new President. "I would like to thank all those who took the time to vote as well as give my appreciation to the newly-elected members for their commitment to the mission of the American German Club of the Palm Beaches."
The American-German Club of the Palm Beaches was founded in 1967 to promote Cultural Value of German Customs, Opportunities for Good Fellowship "Gemuetlichkeit, Preservation of German Cultural Artifacts for Future Generations, Education of the Public of Palm Beach County concerning contributions by the German People to the American Heritage. Every year the Club stages two weekend Oktoberfest and several other Functions and Activities. The General Public is always welcome at the Club's functions.
