KeyCreator 2012 was recently released. As usual, many of the new features were a result of your requests. We continue to add to the dynamic editing functions and KeyCreator 2012 added some nice features for our friends in Mold and Die making companies. To see a complete review of the new features, check out the What's New in KeyCreator 2012 PDF which also has some cool embedded videos. Our new licensing system is in full swing in the Americas. The new activation licensing has many great advantages over the old hardware key. Not worrying about losing the key is just one. And once you've licensed your systems you can forget about it, it's done. If you are running KeyCreator 2011 v10, or Validation Tool/ECO v10 and you haven't activated your licenses yet, you only have until July 9th, so you better get moving! And did you hear? KeyCreator Analysis is blowing the socks off of the competition. If you have a license of some other Analysis software and just found it too hard to use, or not powerful enough, give KeyCreator Analysis a trial run. It's fully integrated with your KeyCreator software. It's so easy to use, so fast and so powerful you'll certainly ditch whatever you were using before. Update on Activation Licensing
We started sending notices related to Activation Licensing in early May. Many of you have received multiple emails and phone calls about licenses that might expire on July 9, 2012. Here's all you really need to know: - If you're running a version of KeyCreator, Validaiton Tool or ECO Mananger prior to versions 10.x.x, you don't have to do anything.
- If you're running KeyCreator 2011 version 10.x.x, and are off maintenance, you still need to update to KeyCreator 2011 version 10.5.1 before July 9th to continue running without interruption. This update is free.
- If you're running a KeyCreator version 10.x.x and are current on your maintenance, you will need to update to either KeyCreator 2011 version 10.5.1 or KeyCreator 2012 version 11.0.0 by July 9th to continue working without interruption. Customers with floating licenses need to move to KeyCreator 2012.
- Validation Tool / ECO Customers running a version 10.x.x need to update to version 10.5.3 by July 9th

Maintaining Your Account
Did you know that you can add multiple users to your account?
In order to do this, log into your support page by going to Kubotekusa.com. Click on "Support" and then "Customer Portal." Log in using your account number, registered email and password. Once logged in, click on "My Account" and then "Add new employee."

Frequently Asked Support Question
Q. When I try to activate my license, I get an Operations Error stating that the product is inconsistent with the entitlement. Why?
A. This means that there is a typo in your product or activation code. The codes are case sensitive so make sure your caps lock is not on. Also, your product code starts with "K0." This is a ZERO and not an "o." |
