March Madness is in full swing. No, we're not talking about basketball, we're talking about all the exciting things going on here at Kubotek! Making its way into the winner's bracket is our new fully integrated Analysis option within KeyCreator, including the newest, fastest and sexiest technology (well, it's definitely easy to use). Along for the ride is KeyCreator Compare which simplifies communication and management of design changes. We're also getting ready to unfurl the KeyCreator 2012 banner quite soon. With all this, we're sure you'll be able to slam dunk your quality and cost goals for design and manufacturing! Update on Activation Licensing
After experiencing delays in 2011, we continue to test a new Activation Licensing system. We still expect to deploy the new system sometime in 2012. One way or the other, users of v10 and above software will be getting new licenses before July 2012, either using the new activation system or through other means. We will continue to be proactive in our communications to you, especially as we learn more about what to expect and when.

Kubotek University
Along with many new lessons, videos and tutorials, Kubotek University is also making available a new KeyCreator Essentials training course. This course is designed for all new and current users of KeyCreator Direct CAD. It is broken into fours 3.5 hour sessions that run on Tue and Thu of two consecutive weeks. It's offered every month. While astute customers can certainly develop a working knowledge of KeyCreator on their own, the structured training provided by this course slashes the ramp-up time and ensures that key productivity tools are not overlooked. In addition, established users who have never had structured training can learn about dozens of powerful features and techniques that might have gone previously undiscovered. Since your time is one of your most important assets, this is a must-have investment. Maintaining Your Account
Did you know that you can add multiple users to your account?
In order to do this, log into your support page by going to Kubotekusa.com. Click on "Support" and then "Customer Portal." Log in using your account number, registered email and password. Once logged in, click on "My Account" and then "Add new employee."

Frequently Asked Support Question
Q. When trying to add details and dimensions to my layout, all of my entities vanish and I have to autoscale in order to bring them back.
A. This issue is completely visual and caused by settings that may not work with your graphics card. Go to TOOLS>OPTIONS>DISPLAY>GRAPHICS CARD. And disable the four "Quickmove" options. |
