Friendly Reminders for Kitchen Volunteers

Please remember that all food brought in for dinner must be hot and ready to serve.  There is to be no cooking in the kitchen due to Dept. of Health regulations and Safe Harbor's policies and procedures.

We would like to thank every individual, organization and corporation that donated holiday gifts and food.  It was truly gratifying to see the generosity of so many.  It certainly made for a happy holiday for our men and women.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Our 6th Annual Friends of Safe Harbor Spring Fund Raiser at the Atrium at QVC

On Saturday, April 28th we will be holding this event which every year brings together many of the people who have helped us succeed in our mission to serve the homeless.

Please consider joining us for the event!  There will be a wonderful assortment of food, drink and entertainment.  We have a fantastic selection of items, services and more for a silent and live auction.  The funds we hope to raise at this event make it possible for us to keep our doors open throughout the year.

The cost for a ticket remains $75.00.  HOWEVER, we have added an incentive this year and if you are able to put together a group of 6 or more, you may purchase tickets at the group of $50.00 each.  We hope you will grab a few friends and introduce them to Safe Harbor and all that we do.

Tickets may be purchased on line by going to our website: www.safeharborofgwc.org or by contacting Gina Harrison at 610-701-5680 or GinaSafeHarbor@comcast.net .

You already do so much to help the homeless and Safe Harbor.  Please consider supporting this event and joining us for a few hours in April.

You can also support this event by donating services, goods (or Phillies tickets) for the auctions.....we need sponsors for the event and can provide information upon request.  We also ask you to consider purchasing an ad for the program booklet.  For more information please contact Gina Harrison at  GinaSafeHarbor@comcast.net or 610-701-5680.

Interested in Scrapbooking?

A volunteer is needed to maintain Safe Harbor's scrapbook, a chronicle of Safe Harbor's mission and history with photos from different events, newspaper articles and other information.  This would not take a lot of time and can be done at your leisure.  Anyone interested please contact Glenn Fricke at 484-631-0104  or GlennSafeHarbor@comcast.net.
