Spring flowers | Greetings!
The boxes are unpacked and the dust is settling and we are grateful for our new shelter space! The residents are very happy to be in their brand new home and we are pleased that everyone is feeling comfortable.
If you are interested in volunteering in the evening with our residents and missed our April 17 training, there will be a mini training on Thursday, May 20 at 1:00 p.m. at our shelter. Please RSVP to Patty by Monday, May 17 if you would like to attend.
Happy Spring! |

| Bar Mitzvah Project
Collection brings in unbelievable amount of food!
Jason Atlas completed a mitzvah project (project that is helping those in need) in April that netted over two SUV loads of food and paper products for Safe Harbor!
We were so grateful to Jason for his leadership and his neighborhood for donating coffee, powdered drink mix, cups, paper plates, napkins and paper towels as well as sugar/sugar substitute packets and canned food! |
| QVC Event
Fundraising event a success!
Over 100 people attended our Fourth Annual Friends of Safe Harbor fundraising event on April 24th! We are grateful to all the supporters who donated gifts and baskets for our silent auction and especially to board member, Gina Harrison who assembled all the beautiful baskets! |

Special Request
Funding needed for window treatments
A volunteer is willing and able to make new window treatments in the women's dorm, but we need the funds to purchase the fabric.
Also, we have half the funding committed by a donor to purchase new window shades in the women's dorm but need an additional $900 to make this project a reality.
These two projects will allow for the privacy of our female residents in the dining area and serenity room.
If you are able to make a donation to these projects, please call us at 610-692-6550 or send your donation to our office and mark "window shades or window treatments" on your check. |
