Shelter Volunteer Scheduling Update
We're working hard to schedule every new volunteer who is interested in working with our residents (over 50 newly trained volunteers!) Most volunteers have been scheduled, but if there wasn't a space available in November and December, please be patient as we'll get you on the schedule for January and February when more shifts will be available. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We are grateful for your gift of time. |
Golf Outing a Success!
Thank you to the 76 golfers who were in full-swing on October 26 and played golf to benefit Safe Harbor. Preliminary numbers show the event raised about $10,000! If you were a part of a foursome and would like to order a photo of your team, please click here Golf Outing Photos. Thank you to Bob Baumann who spent his afternoon taking photos of the groups and offering the proceeds from the sales of the photos to Safe Harbor. |

Quote of the Month
"Some people are fortunate enough to earn their livelihoods in jobs that directly help to create a more peaceful, just and sustainable world. But much of the efforts to make life better for our communities and our world are done by volunteers -- people who work for a better world without pay. Volunteers ARE creating a better world, one person and one act of kindness at a time."
