'Tis the Season for Giving Building and Donating Bikes for Kids
SWCP Team members joined Phoenix's Channel 3 News Anchor, Royal Norman, to donate 30 bikes to underprivileged kids.
The team building activities took place at the Arizona Grand Resort where the Resort Sales & Services Team joined the SWCP Team to build the bikes in a fun and competitive fashion.
The event was a great way to create camaraderie while giving back to those kids who would normally have to do without.

| Plans for Mountain Shadows in Final Stage
$150M Redevelopment Ideas Capitalize on Mountain Views
Inspired by the bird's-eye view, hotel designer, Dodd Mitchell and his project team, are putting finishing touches on a $150 million redevelopment plan for the 337-room former Mountain Shadows Resort in Paradise Valley. The focal point of Mitchell's plan is Camelback Mountain, with the buildings taking advantage of the breathtaking view. Mountain Shadows would remain the resort's name.
"I am in love with this property and this land. There is such inspiration that comes off that mountain," Mitchell said.
Mitchell's plan calls for tearing down all existing buildings and constructing a new 180-room resort hotel and 46 privately owned homes. Amenities on-site would include a new clubhouse, full-service spa and three restaurants.

Ready for Some Football...
Insight Bowl & Fiesta Bowl Offer Great Match-Ups
Tempe, Arizona welcomes Minnesota and Iowa State fans to the Insight Bowl on December 31, 2009! Whether your team represents the Big Ten or the Big 12 Conference, you'll love the warm hospitality in Tempe. Tempe is located just 10 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The METRO light rail connects downtown Tempe/Sun Devil Stadium to the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and downtown Phoenix.
#4 TCU and #6 Boise State will meet in the Fiesta Bowl on January 4th, 2010, marking the first time a BCS game other than the championship game has a matchup of unbeaten teams.
It's also the first time two teams from conferences without automatic bids to the BCS have played in the five big-money bowls in the same season. "We think it's a matchup that's credible," Fiesta Bowl CEO John Junker said. "If there was a glass ceiling, we think we've taken a chunk out of it." |
