Bill grew up in Austintown, Ohio, and attended Youngstown State University and Ohio State University, earning a degree in Business Management.  He spent many family vacations in Arizona and knew he was destined to live in the Grand Canyon State after the first visit.  Bill comes from a very close family of 5 siblings, and is the proud uncle of 11 nieces and nephews.  When not spending time with family, he loves traveling the Arizona Highways and the nearby California coast.  He also has enjoyed some worldly adventures that have taken him to Africa, Egypt, El Sharm Sheikh on the Red Sea, Phillipines and Mexico.  Bill has been with SWCP for nearly 9 years and when not working enjoys golfing, boating and jet skiing.

Bill is the Director of Operations for the company. You can contact him at 480-609-5310 or bsnyder@swcp.net
The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain
Tucson resort to be completed late Fall 2009

 Ritz Golf Photo

Nestled in the high Sonoran Desert in the foothills of the Tortolita Mountains, the resort features a destination spa, adventure programming, world class hiking, Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf and richly appointed accommodations in a striking canyon setting.  This picturesque retreat is the place where adventure and a gracious spirit of hospitality come to life.

The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain will be completed late fall 2009. The luxury property will feature 250 guest rooms, 31 suites and a 17,000 square foot spa. Meeting space will include three ballrooms of 9,000, 5,000 and 2,100 square feet, three lawn areas, four meeting rooms and a boardroom. The adjacent 27-hole Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course has already opened. Golf fans may recall that The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, Dove Mountain was the site where Tiger Woods made his much-anticipated return to the game at the WGC Accenture Match play tournament earlier this year.

The Musical Instrument Museum (MIM) is a  195,000-square-foot facility currently being built on 20 acres of scenic Sonoran Desert in North Phoenix, and opens April 2010. MIM will celebrate the similarities and differences of the world's musical cultures as expressed through music which is common to us all.  With musical instruments from every country in the world, MIM will pay homage to the history and diversity of instruments and introduce museum guests to their varied and unique sounds. Along with its permanent and special exhibit galleries, MIM will include a 299-seat music theater, a recording studio, conservation lab, family center, restaurant, coffee house and gift shop.

"MIM will be like no other musical instrument museum in the world," said MIM President and Director Billie (Bill) R. DeWalt, Ph.D.  "Through our ever-expanding international collection of unique and historical instruments, MIM will celebrate the contributions each and every country in the world has made to our musical heritage."
